Homemade Honey Mustard: A Sweet and Tangy Condiment

In a bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard and 2 tablespoons of honey.

Add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, then whisk until smooth.

Gradually pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil while whisking to emulsify the mixture.

Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

For a spicier kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper or a splash of hot sauce.

Adjust sweetness or tanginess by adding more honey or lemon juice, if desired.

Transfer the honey mustard to a jar or container with a tight-fitting lid.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
