Easy Sourdough Bread Recipe

In a bowl, combine 1 cup of active sourdough starter with 1 1/2 cups of warm water.

Mix in 4 cups of bread flour and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt.

Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 4-6 hours.

Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.

Transfer the dough to a floured baking sheet or Dutch oven.

Let it rise for another 1-2 hours.

Bake at 450°F for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
