Classic Vanilla Cake: A Simple and Delicious Recipe

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.

In a mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened butter and 2 cups of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in 4 large eggs, one at a time, then stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract.

Gradually add 3 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 tablespoon of baking powder, alternating with 1 cup of milk, mixing until smooth.
