Baked Ziti: A Delicious Pasta Casserole Favorite

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Cook 1 pound of ziti pasta according to package instructions, then drain.

 In a skillet, brown 1 pound of ground beef or Italian sausage until cooked through.

Stir in 2 cups of marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, meat sauce, 1 cup of ricotta cheese, and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.

 Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with an additional 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.

 Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.

 Let it cool for a few minutes before serving this comforting baked ziti.
